Ellen joined Hills Legal Group as an Associate Attorney in 2022. She is a life-long resident of Wisconsin. In her down time, Ellen enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and being outdoors. She has backpacked in Peru, the Grand Canyon, Pictured Rocks, and the Lake Superior Trail.

Ellen earned her J.D. from Marquette University in May 2021, where she graduated cum laude. While attending law school, Ellen was a Member and Associate Editor for the Marquette Law Review and was active in the St. Thomas More Society and Student Wellness Organization. She spent her final semester serving as a judicial intern for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, in Chief Justice Patience D. Roggensack’s chambers. Ellen earned six CALI Awards during her time at Marquette for having earned the highest grade in her class, including in Legal Analysis, Research, & Writing, Constitutional Law, and Evidence.

Ellen earned her B.A. from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she majored in Communications and minored in Philosophy. Ellen was one of six women in her incoming undergraduate class to receive a full scholarship to Mount Mary for her prior academic achievement and commitment to social justice. As part of this scholarship, Ellen completed 1,200 hours of social justice work in the community in her four years of college. She graduated from Mount Mary cum laude.
